天人師

(天人師, 天人师)

`saastaa devamam.syaanaam [lang id =1028]舍多提婆摩菟舍喃, teacher of (sa) devas and men, one of the ten epithets of a Buddha, because he reveals goodness and morality, and is able to save.

謂非獨與四眾為師， 所有天上人間、 魔王外道、 釋梵天龍， 悉皆歸命， 依教奉行， 俱作弟子， 故號天人師。 （四眾者， 比丘、 比丘尼、 優婆塞、 優婆夷也。 ）

如來十號之一， 六趣中的天與人無不以佛為教師， 故稱天人師。
